All Saints’ Church, Barnacre

All Saints’ Church is a small, picturesque and much loved early 20th century church, situated in beautiful farming countryside near Garstang, Lancashire.

The church has a very faithful, warm and welcoming congregation, with new people joining the church over time.

It has a good village choir which includes 5 younger members. It shares an organist with St. John’s Church, Calder Vale.

All Saints’ Church, Barnacre, is one of 3 Parish Churches in a United Parish. The other 2 Parish Churches are St. John’s Church, Calder Vale and St Peter’s, Scorton. Our Diocese is the
Diocese of Blackburn.

Services

The Sunday Service is at 10:00 – three weeks of each month we hold a Lay lead Prayer and Praise service, on the 2nd Sunday of the month it is a communion service with hymns. There are refreshments on the second, third and fourth Sundays in the neighbouring Memorial Hall.

On the first weekend of July each year, there is an annual exhibition weekend with a flower festival in church, many stalls and delicious refreshments in the Memorial Hall – take a look at the “annual exhibition” page (accessible through the drop down menu above).

The Memorial Hall

The hall is now available for hire following  its recent refurbishment.

The Hall is used by the church and various community groups and we now hope to attract more users from the local community. Ideal for smaller parties and group meetings.
