The church

The spire of the church is a local landmark, visible from the M6.

It has a peel of 8 bells which are rung each Sunday before the service and for weddings.

The congregation

The church has a regular committed congregation of all ages. It has its own verger and bellringers.

The contact details of the church wardens are available on the “useful contacts page”.

The church is used regularly during the week by the school for worship and other activities.

Services

The Sunday Service is usually at 10.30 am – 3 weeks of the month it is a Lay lead Prayer and Praise service and on the 3rd Sunday it is a communion service with hymns. The exception to this is the first Sunday of the month when we hold an evening worship service instead, which starts at 6pm and features the Community Choir. There are refreshments every Sunday in the church following the service.

According to the season, there are other services – please see the “coming events” section on the home page for more details. If you would like to receive the weekly newsletter or quarterly Parish magazine please contact us using the details above.
